There are 2 ways to upload a company policy or document to your Workbase: as a link or as a file upload. Additionally, upload your own documents or use one of our document templates.
Navigate to the "Documents" tab and click "Add" where you can choose to:
Use a policy or document template
Add your own company document
Add your own business policy
From the "Documents" tab, toggle the switch on or off for each document to customize which documents will show on your WorkBase. Click on the ๐๏ธ icon at the top of the page to hide or show the documents section on your WorkBase.
Add your own document
Click "Add" and select "Document" or "Policy". Fill in your document name and description, choose to upload or link your document and then attach your document. Click "Save" and publish you document to your WorkBase by clicking "Publish WorkBase" at the top right of you screen.
Use a template
Templates include policy and document templates are free for you to use. Follow the steps below to retrieve a template and upload your edited template.
Click "Add"
Select "Use template"
Select one of our templates in the pop-up and click "Get template"
A Google Doc of the template will open up in a new tab
To download and edit the template as a Microsoft Word document, click "File" > "Download" > "Microsoft Word (.docx)". Open the downloaded Word document and click "Duplicate". Rename the file and click "Save".
To use the template within Google Docs, click "File" > "Make a copy". Rename the document and click "Make a copy".
Once you have edited your document, download the file.
Now, follow the steps in Add your own document to add it to your WorkBase.
